I have read the life of Cournelius Scipio and have found it very interesting.
But in particular i loved the character of Hannibal. A genius without the support of his country.
Hannibal was betrayed by Carthage.
Scipio was betrayed by Rome. Two thousand years later history is written again and again. The best are defeated by the mediocre.
